Sono Salpingo Graphy (SSG) is a part of infertility tests to check the woman’s fallopian tubes. In SSG, the physician inserts a speculum into your vagina to see the cervix. Then the doctor cleans the cervix and passes a thin tube to the uterus.

Then, a small amount of saline is injected into the uterus to check the uterine cavity. The saline passes down to the uterus and the fallopian tubes to check for blockages.
