Fertility vis-à-vis Infertility -
Fertility is the ability of an individual or couple to have babies or to reproduce through normal sexual activity. To put it in the simplest terms, fertility means a man's ability to father a child and a woman's to have a baby. Male fertility refers to the ability of a man to produce healthy sperm which can lead to pregnancy. Fertility in females refers to the ability of a woman to conceive a baby and carry the pregnancy to a full term.
Infertility is a condition of the male and/or female to have babies or to reproduce through normal sexual activity. It is a condition of the male and/or female reproductive system defined by the failure to achieve a pregnancy after 12 months or more of regular sexual intercourse without using any birth control measures.
